How to use water bath

The water bath is mainly used for distilling, drying, concentrating and warming chemical and biological products in the laboratory. 1 The electronic constant temperature water bath should be placed on a fixed platform, first clamp the hose of the drain port, and then pour clean water into the water bath box (to shorten the heating time, hot water can also be injected).
 
2 Turn on the power, the red indicator light showing OFF lights up, turn the temperature adjustment knob to the set temperature (clockwise to heat up, counterclockwise to cool down), the water starts to be heated, and the indicator light turns on; when the temperature rises to the set temperature, When the indicator light is OFF, the water starts to be kept at a constant temperature.
 
3 After the water bath is constant temperature, place the container with the items to be kept constant in the water bath to start the constant temperature.
 
4 In order to ensure the effect of constant temperature at constant temperature, the parts of the constant temperature container in contact with the box can be sealed with cardboard. The constant temperature items in the constant temperature container should be lower than the constant temperature water bath surface of the water bath.
 
5 After use, take out the thermostat, turn off the power, and drain the water in the box. And make a record of the use of the instrument.
 
6 Maintenance:
 
(1) The water tank should be placed on a fixed platform, the power supply voltage of the instrument should be 220V, the power socket should be a three-hole installation socket, and a ground wire must be installed.
 
(2) Cut the object and turn on the power before adding water, and during use, the water level must be higher than the stainless steel partition. Do not heat without water or below the partition, otherwise the heating tube will be damaged.
 
(3) If the temperature control fails, the silver contacts on the controller can be polished with a fine emery cloth to work.
 
(4) Do not pour water into the control box during water injection to prevent electric shock. After use, the water in the box should be drained in time, wiped clean, and kept clean to extend the service life.
 
(5) It is best to use purified water to avoid scale.
